Feeling good about my weigh in. I think I'll stick to my schedule to fast on Friday for 5:2 Challenge instead of bumping it up for today.I think I'll be averaging about 3lbs a week weight loss with LCHF, so I should be about 215 or less by my birthday. With continuing exercise I will have lost 2 dress sizes!!! Good Deal!
1:00pm - Ate lunch of 2 eggs fried in coconut oil. I plan to have salad for dinner.

Good. The fasting day of the 5:2 Challenge brought me back on track. I will make Friday my second fasting day of the week.

I failed my no snacking challenge today
. No carb, but I had the urge to eat something (old habits die hard), so I ate a sausage patty. Not acceptable because I wasn't hungry and I'm trying to limit my calories in general. But the sausage was high fat; so I remain LCHF. Maybe I'll make tomorrow my other fasting day for this week.
I was so happy seeing the weight loss this morning. I think I sabotage myself by staying up late (altho 9:30 isn't really late, but I hadn't eaten in awhile so I needed to eat something). I should retire sooner until my urges get under control.

Although I followed LCHF, yesterday I ate more than I should have (some emotional eating because of family issue). I hope to learn to control that more as I go along. The scale showed a 2 lb gain. I believe also that it is fluid accumulation because of stress, and will pass after today. I have decided this will be my fasting day of the 5:2 Challenge in which I will consume no more than 400 calories.

Well, I kept to the rules of LCHFIF (no carbs except those in the salad I ate; but I did eat when I had had enough. We are only to eat until satisfied. I have got to control portions better.
Tomorrow is the first day of 5:2, so maybe I'll make that one of my fasting days to not exceed 400 calories. I'll just have coffee with cream and stevia for breakfast; then a big salad with cheese and chicken leg with olive oil and vinegar dressing; then coffee and cream for dinner. That's about 400 calories.
But some good news is that my glucose level was not extremely high as it usually is(over 200) 1/2 hour after eating. I want to reverse diabetes if I can or at least, control it better by consuming fewer carbs. So I'm optimistic about this LCHFIF (the in is for intermittent fasting). It is similar to the 5:2 challenge. But the LCHFIF doesn't start the intermittent fasting phase until the 4th week.
I didn't snack after dinner as well (one of my other challenges).

Although it's not advised, I'm going to weigh myself everyday. This will help keep me focused, I think. I do know weight fluctuates, so I understand that; but my yo-yoing happens when I get off track. I've joined 4 challenges which work together as well; 10 No snacking in the evening, 2) 5:2 Fasting through Christmas and New Years, 3) LCHFIF, and 4) Lose 20 lbs by End of Feb 2016. These will also help my resolve.
