I just had a thought... (scary). I haven't posted my weight loss since I began simply because I have been forbidden by my trainer to get on any scale other than his..... his theory being that the number on the scale is just that~ a number and it is not giving me (the woman with the messed up brain) the total picture of what I have acheived by working out...... so I am going to write down what I've accomplished so far, and that way I can just go back to this journal entry when I am reading of everyone else's success~ sort of my own little pep talk.....
Starting weight (11/17/07): 208lbs
Measurements:
Shoulders: 45 inches
Bicep: 15.5 inches
Waist: 40.25 inches
Hips: 51 inches
Thigh: 27 inches
Body Fat Percentage: 41%
Weigh In #1 (01/12/08)
Weight: 202lbs
Measurements:
Shoulders: 44 inches
Bicep: 15 inches
Waist:36 inches
Hips: 46 inches
Thigh: 25.75 inches
Body Fat Percentage: 35.8%
Total fat lbs lost: 13
Total muscle lbs gained: 9
Body fat percentage decreased: 6.2%

Well dangit! I went over my goal of calories yesterday....I have been hovering around 1500-1800, and made it all the way to 2075! Yikes...no more of that!
Yesterday I put on a pair of pants that I could not wear before Thanksgiving (too too tight~ even though I could zip them, not pretty) and they were actually big.... I can wear them for awhile, but soon they will be going into the donation pile! And they are my favorites....so I guess it's time to move on to something new~ yay!
Today's plan: Eat right, and train my butt off!

ok so i know that i've already journaled today, but i really wanted to write this down because it made me feel sooooo great! my husband (who does support me, but is not vocal about it) told me today that he can see that i've lost weight~ in fact, what he said was "you're looking alot thinner honey". what an impact! just those simple words made me want to jump up & down! whooohooo!

Good morning! Sunday is here, and all I want to do is veg.... what is it about Sundays that make me soooo lazy? Oh well~ I'll relax a little and then move onto to being a responsible adult later today lol!
Diet is going ok....trainer went great yesterday, not too sore today.....my hubby is lookin cute as ever in his pjs.....my dogs are making me crazy.....hmmmm~ life as usual in this household!

so.....I am thinking that I like the new trainer~ he is very knowledgeable and focused~ which keeps me working hard and burning calories. According to my heartrate monitor, I burned 500cals during today's workout~ and I usually do about 400 or so. He had me doing these "kettle bell swings" that were actually kinda fun~ I'm sure I looked like a dufus, but whatever... lol :) Have a good one!
