Beautiful Fall morning for a bike ride into work. I love when I can combine exercise along with a necessary task like going to work. It makes it seem more useful to me.

Talked myself into walking / running on the treadmill for 35 minutes this evening. I'm not usually very good at working out in the evening, so a win for me. Weather looks good for Wednesday, so I may have one last bicycle commute to work before the temperature takes a dive in West Michigan.

Making progress. I'm going to move my weigh in day to Saturday morning since I do a better job of following my eating plan during the week.

I've been using FatSecret off and on for several years to track my caloric intake and it's always been a challenge to stick with it. I made one change this time, and it seems to be making a difference. I've started to decide in advance what I am going to eat each day and log it to see how the calories stack up. In the past I would log after I eat and more often than not the calories would go over my goal. It seems like such a simple thing, but it's making a difference.
