Woke up super stuffed up. But the Neti Pot saved me!!! We had to postpone our Universal Studios trip a week... so fingers crossed we are well by Monday!! What are your favorite home remedies for the common cold/stuffy nose/ear aches/sneezes and coughs?!

I have been aiming to only weigh in on Wednesday mornings.... but I weighed myself last night as only a reminder and a way to track this wild roller coaster journey... it was very high... but I expected this. It was before bed, I Enjoyed a few cocktails this weekend and ate a lot of left overs, or over ate a lot of leftovers I should say. Even ate a bowl of oats yesterday... but last night I saddled back up and decided to do a zero carb dinner and meal planned for today... I am going to be gentle to myself about this gain, use it as a learning experience and proof that I can’t be so absent minded about this if I want to reach the goals I have set... also going to buy a food scale not just use measuring cups/spoons.

Well I took/posted a picture and a blurb about my morning thoughts... but it didn’t show up anywhere?!
So here it goes... my kids and I are sick, my heater shut down last night, woke up to a 48f house which aren’t helping with the sniffles or body aches. My dog went potty in my house 😩
I didn’t feel like eggs, they upset my stomach most days... TMI but I call them my colon cleansers. I was too cold and tired to stand and cook bacon.... I didn’t want to serve my kids cold cereal since they have coughs and sniffles. So I made them organic steel cut oats... I served them with honey and cinnamon and butter. There was 1/2 a cup left... I ate it 🙈😫
Tomorrow is a new day... 16.5 NC just for bfast

One of my new favorite easy meals, ground meat, mayo, pickles (or relish), mustard and cheese. Zero carbs! I like to use this meal as dinner after I “run out” of carbs during a day or if for breaking fast if I plan a bigger or unknown dinner.
