I'm noticing that I'm not getting my 12 or so veggie carbs in. It takes alot of salad veggies to make 12 carbs, don't know if I can do it. I did when I first started and had a terrible stomach ache from the gas. Maybe if I add some to my breakfast?

I had to re-evaluate what I'd been eating. I wasn't losing more because I was having a couple of things that were higher carbs than I thought. I love butternut squash, but holy cow....that's alot of carbs. I figured its a veggie, how high can it be? Tracked every mouthful the last couple of days and I'm down a couple of pounds this morning.
I also started the treadmill again last week and this week I'm doing
my exercise video. It's a slow old/fat people's workout, but at least I'm moving again. It's a start for someone who's out of shape and has health issues.

Made a special (somewhat) low carb meal for just the two of us for Thanksgiving. The day went well, except for polishing off the pumpkin pie. Didn't gain, but didn't lose. I'll take it.

I've got a wicked cold this week. I'm already not at all hungry (still in induction) and am having to force myself to eat. I've gotten through with my gut trying to deal with all of the vegetables, but now because I don't feel well, eating is the last thing on my mind.
My throat is sore but all I have in the house are regular cough drops with sugar. Do they make sugar free cough drops? I'll have to check that out.
I just started this on the 8th. I am NOT going to backslide just because I feel like kwap!
