I'm not sure my current goal should be my goal. Before when I used FS to get down to my goal weight, I was literally just cutting calories and wasn't focusing at all on fitness. It was fine and I kept it off for a bit, but I noticed my favorite clothes starting to get tight again so I decided to start logging again. However this time I'm also working out and I've fallen in love with it. I absolutely LOVE Ring Fit Adventure on the Switch. Not only is it convenient because it's at home, but my son is always keeping me accountable by asking when I'm going to play the "Monster game" again. My kids love watching and cheering me on so it's really easy to fit it in our schedule because its fun for all of us. (If you don't know its a workout game where you defeat monsters and save the world by working out, SO FUN!) I've noticed not only is my mental health better on days I get to work out, but even if I think I'm too tired, if I just try for even a short session I have so much more energy afterwards! Lately it is rare for me to miss a day. The point of all of this is that I don't know what my goal weight should be anymore. I feel like my current goal weight is too low for the fact that I'm building muscle. My clothes are already fitting better again and I'm feeling so much healthier but it should still probably be a little less than where I am now. I am 5'9 woman in my early 30's, my goal weight was 135, but that doesn't feel right anymore. Honestly I'm really happy to just use FS to log and track, and do my own thing but it asks for a goal weight. I've not really purposely built up muscle before so if anyone has info or resources I can look into about reasonable goals or how to measure that as a metric instead of weight, I would be so grateful! Thanks in advance!
