Hello:
I just bought an air fryer and I made salmon - it was fantastic. I made a rub from a little brown sugar, garlic powder and thyme. Chopped up some veggies and spritzed with olive oil, salt and pepper. I stir fried some green beans and broccoli in Teriyaki/Sriracha sauce. Threw in three toasted crackers for some crunch.
Very delicious. The air fryer was on sale on Amazon: Ultrean 6 quart for total of 72.00. Worth every penny!!!
Next I want to try cauliflower and brussel sprouts.

This website is GREAT. It calculates calories based upon your age, gender, height, weight and activity level in determining the amount of calories needed to maintain or lose quickly weight. It uses a standardized formula in making this determination
Of course, we are all different but I found it eye-opening. I am in my 60's , weigh 300, 5 ft 8 inches and light activity:
maintain weight: 2915
lose weight: 2332
lose weight quickly: 1749
Again, these are guidelines but I find having some basic parameters to work within very helpful.

Hi Everyone:
Okay, I am struggling with this pandemic teaching from home and I am always eating. So, today I started to be more food conscious and will hopefully get it back under control.
Tonight, I had a wonderful dinner: three baked chicken legs, four oz of feta drizzled with olive oil, sauteed grape tomatoes, Scandinavian flatbread and olives. Also, not pictured was some fresh spinach and cucumbers drizzled with vinegar and balsamic.

Happy Holiday to everyone:
I have been away for awhile but I am back. I gained about 17 lb since August so I need to start bringing that back down. No need to panic - I have been up and down before. But, with this pandemic , it is sooooo easy to sit at home and eat, eat, eat. I am sure all of you folks have experienced your stressors too..
Anyway, we are expecting to get 4-6 inches of snow which look forward to especially this time of year.
Be safe, be merry if you can and be ready for 2021.
Bob
