7:30 a.m. and I have been awake all night. I am finalizing some specs for my kitchen contractor and watched a couple of movies while I was doing it. Hubs and I took late night two mile walks the last two days, but I didn't last night. I know sleep plays a big part in weight gain so I am going to get my sleep rhythm back...this is a real challenge for me.
I am going to cut my simple carbs today...maybe for the rest of the week. And adding yoga back in if my shoulder can take it--all I need to do is modify. I always feel like a million bucks after an hour of yoga!

here I am up late again. I was tired at 11pm but hubs said, "Come on. Let's go for a walk. You said you wanted to get some exercise today." So we went out for a 2 miler. I jogged about a half mile. The night air was beautifully breezy. We star gazed, listened to one of my fave songs, Vincent, prompted by the beauty of the night. We saw two deer.
I think I lost another pound. I will weigh tomorrow.
Yesterday we walked a mile by the river. We drove through the woods, stopped at a creek and picked some wild black berries, took some photos of the water, some dragonflies. It was such a pleasant day.

why am I staying up so late? it is 4am! partly bc I slept until noon....and we went for a mile walk around 10pm, it was so nice outside. Going to bed.

I started off the morning (afternoon) with my usual lemon water. I went out on the deck and did some leg lifts. These are not on the exercise list. I did 50 side, front, and back on each side. Then I stretched for about 15 minutes. Then I laid back in the sun meditating in the quite. It felt so good. But Hubs broke the silence~ decided it would be a good day to go look at countertop stone an hour away so I got ready and quickly ate the easiest thing I could grab which was a bowl of leftover thin spaghetti with 4 spoons of tabouli and some peanut sauce. And a mic ultra. I haven't been eating pasta for awhile. I bet I gain 2 lbs.
