This was a difficult week for me. It was super busy, so I didn't get a chance to get to the gym. I'm not discouraged at all, I just need to make sure that this week I perform better than last. I know I can do this, I've proved that in the first two weeks.

This week I felt like I wasn't on track at all. Even though I went to the gym five times, I still felt like I wasn't losing anything. Then, a couple days ago, Aunt Flo stopped by and a light bulb went off. I didn't figure on losing anything this week because I know that when she comes bloating and water retention occurs, however, I still lost FOUR pounds! YAY!

I love the RDI, but I hate that I can't adjust it for workout days. I will consume a couple hundred more calories on a day I workout than I will on days that I don't. It balances out without putting my body into survival mode.

It is utterly humbling the amount of support I receive from my friends. I have two amazing friends already on this site, Janisha and Jackie. Janisha is my best friend of four years, and Jackie is a blossoming close friend of about two. Both of these strong, amazing women have been nothing but supportive and reliable during my transformations. Two of my other close friends, Jen and Lacie, will be joining the site (hopefully) so that we can all help each other reach our goals. Friends are a wonderful thing and I am so blessed to have each of you in my life, and supportive of my journey.
