Hi everyone.
Thank you all so much for the input on yesterday's question. I feel soooo much better, and some of your advice I've really taken to heart. Yesterday went well, I stuck to OMAD. Did my 6 km walk & ended up with 16400 steps.
Last night I had freshly made spaghetti that a friend gave me, with beef mince. IMHO, there is such a big difference between the fresh ones & store bought dry pasta. I was able to stick to 1 portion, where normally I would eat until I'm bursting. I'm only up by 200 gr on my weight this morning. I'm hoping for a bit of a loss for tomorrow's official weigh-in.
Tonight is back to healthy meals, having roasted veggies & steak.

When you fall down, just get back up. I like to make myself feel bad when I slip up. I wish I could stop those guilty thoughts after I had a less healthy meal.
How do you cope with slipping up?

Yesterday was a good day, I managed to stick to OMAD & ate well. I'm back to Friday's weight before the indulgent weekend. Onwards & downwards.
I've done my 6 km walking yesterday, and today my friend and I will start training to jog the 4 km that we walked for January. Ended up with 18500 steps yesterday & kept my calories well under 1300, without feeling hungry or deprived.
Keep on keeping on! Consistency beats everything else all the time!

Hi all!!
Hope everyone's weekend was lekker...
I had many many many carbs over the weekend. It's okay, slowly but surely it is dawning on me that I am allergic to gluten. My sinuses go hay-wire after I had gluten (especially when I had a low-carb week) & it also constipates me. I will get better at not "wanting" it anymore, & replacing it with low-carb substitutes. It is an addiction that I need to break.
Today we soldier on! Happy Monday everyone.

My weight stayed the same for this week. I'm okay with that because I know it is preparing for shark week.
I'm sure next week my numbers will be down again.
I walked my 6 km for the day & ended up doing 17000 steps. Dinner was lamb chops & roasted veggies, with some plums for dessert.
