Back to my plan!!! I'm going to be a good girl! Lunch today! Slowly cooked chicken thigh in a taco seasoning sauce, fried cabbage, and spring green salad.

Heck, it was my birthday! ha ha! I had FUN all week! How can I say no to apple pie and cake when my friends purchase it for me as gifts??? Ok so I'm back on track....
A 4 lb weight gain for the first time since last November isn't bad..

Oh just 1 pound BUT no doubt inches gone. I said I was closely following my diet poorly. Not really poorly, just a bit unprepared. I'm prepared now. Looking forward to 1-derland!
Today's lunch: Yankee Pot Roast meatballs (I made a pot roast sauce), parmesan cauliflower mash with broccoli!

Thank you all so much for your support and comments. Today, I did my first work out in ages although I walk all the time. Did 45 minutes on an elliptical stepper. I feel good. Someone asked "are you really that age?".. I know my picture kinda surprises some people but I fool people all the time. Here's a photo I took of myself in 2008 at my 50th birthday. I am aging.. just really slowly. Its my DNA because I never remember my grandmother being gray, my mom died without gray hair and my sister, who is two years old has no gray. I am blessed for sure.

So glad to continue to do weight loss! Lost lbs since my last weight-in. I knew I did because I felt it. One day about a week ago, I was going down a flight of stairs. I felt a lightness in my body so I knew some weight was gone!
The overwhelming stress and issues I had with moving my residence is over. I am back full strength and now re-focused on my goal. NO weight gain during my stress period because I just didnt' want to gain weight - although I did eat more carbs than usual. The difference today than in the pass is that I know exactly what happens when I overeat. the real impact. No more...
My 59th birthday is approaching in 4 weeks. I wanted to be in "one-derland" but if I'm close, I'll be very happy! I am happy right now, that I weight less than I did in 1989. I guess you can say I've tried to lose weight all my life. But in 1989 my father died and I noted my weight that day because I was on a diet. In 1989 I was 222 lbs. Good job, Avis! (other than being 209 after being in the hospital for surgery, I haven't been that weight since 1989. Can't wait to get to 209!
