July 9, 2020 still 167 lbs, blood sugar 126. Size 12 petite short trousers fit better than they did last week. I have tried to stay on task, eating very little fruit or extra carbs any kind and aiming at 850 to 900 calories. It's tough when your body wants to stay at a certain weight and when the job requires being stationary for several hours but it's going to work. I will keep refining and putting in more exercise, etc until it does. BMI 29. It was a lot higher earlier ! 57th percentile for my age group and gender, but still overweight if not obese.

July 7, 2020 a Tuesday. Second day of our new 8 hour shift. Not hard to do. Since I hated to go home before the day's shipping was done, I usually stayed until 3:30 or 4 every day anyway. Weight today remains 167.6. Blood sugar still up (135). Looks like I need to stop eating fruit or any starch. Getting up this morning and having a 1 inch square by 1/8 inch thick slice of banana bread was not wise. I tried to eat some ham but even soaked in hot water it was too salty. Endedup enjoying 2/3 cup of Greek yoghurt, low fat.

July 6, 2020 Hurray back to 167. I am measuring blood sugar before I eat and letting myself be pretty hungry when it's not time to eat. It burns off fat. No more snacking. No more fruit after dinner either. I was 130 this morning. Not taking glypizide at all and it shows. Blood sugar is more sensitive.

July 6 back to 167 after all. Blood sugar before eating. Letting myself be hungry. It makes a difference. No glypizide and blood sugar shows it if I eat strawberries or cherries after dinner. 155 this morning. Can't burn fat if I snack at my age and condition. But getting weight off will happen. I pretty much saw a plateau for June. July will be different. Goal, lose at least 2 more pounds this month.

July 5, blood pressure 118/59, blood sugar 155 after breakfast, weight 168.2. New resolve to not eat until blood sugar is under 120.
