I'm starting afresh, two years later. South-beach-esque, but I can't cut fruit out completely. I'm trying my best though, and am eating no junk food and drinking only water, tea and coffee. I am ready to lose the weight for real. I joined a gym and have been going regularly.

Have been going to the gym every weekday-spinning class, swimming, weight training, and other cardio. Weekends I do squats and crunches at home.

I hadn't weighed myself since last Thursday, so I didn't just lose 2 lbs overnight. But I am still pleased. Only 52 more to go!
