I gained 3 pounds in 5 days! Stupid carbs. That's what I'm blaming it on. Today, I'm able to cut out a few more than I had today, and I planned out tomorrow's menu so I cut out an additional 13grams. I'm going to plan each day's menu the day before and work to effectively cut out more carbs each day.

Tomorrow, I should be going on a picnic with the kids and Jay, so I hope we go to our spot. It's a good 40 minute walks from here. And I'll even push the double stroller with both kids. As far as I know the kids alone weigh about 60 pounds together. Not including the stroller (which I just won't count anyway lol). So pushing 60lbs for 40 minutes should do something for my physical activity. I'll grab my good sneakers and maybe even do some jogging when we get to our spot. There's a trail nice dirt road, of sorts, that goes around the big field and the duck pond, so I figure on good lap should do it. Then I can collapse and have lunch/dinner. When we walk back, I'll have Jay push the stroller lol

So, hopefully, tomorrow is going to be a good fitness day. Everything I have planned for lunch is easily transported, so that's no worry. I'll make a container of mac and cheese, some nuggets for Harley, two sandwiches for Jay, a sandwich for Carma. And I'll pack a couple of apples, a couple of bananas, and a few fruit cups. Plus a blanket, napkins, silverware. I'll ask Jay to bring a couple of plates (the kids can share plates with us). Oh, and a garbage bag to collect our garbage (and any garbage we find along the way.

:-) I'm looking forward to tomorrow more and more. Good workout, good food, and doing good for the Earth by picking up trash.

NOTE: Remember to bring wipes to clean up hands; Especially after picking up trash XD

Doing much better today! Checking out my food chart and I can see that I do need to increase my fiber intake (which will help with keeping me fuller longer), and lowering my carbohydrate intake. I did go for a mighty walk today, so that should definitely help. According to another site, I should have no more than 1400 calories in order to lose weight for my usual physical activity (which sounds a lot better than the 2,000 recommended by FS!) So, I'm going to stick with that. Once I start losing the weight just by dieting, I'll have more energy to actually want to work out, and my self-esteem will be upped so I might actually be cheery and motivated enough to go outside lol

That's all for now. Off to the store for some fiber-y cereal and some dried fruit mix of sorts, to snack on between meals.

It's been a slow day. Not much physical activity, but I'm hoping to go out for a walk later. Once the kids are up, washed, and ready, we'll head out. Strap them into the stroller and just walk around the block a couple of times.

I've been eating healthy all day. Not picking at the kids meals when they're finished. I've been working on the shopping lists for Sunday and different snack ideas. Apples with cheese are delicious, but I need to find something better than cheese, me thinks. I know I'm getting a box of healthy cereal to have in the mornings when I'm not having an egg white sandwich or some oatmeal and fruit.

Unfortunately, my mother has a nasty habit of getting into everything so I might have to designate a drawer in my room for my healthy food and what not. Which is unfortunate, but sadly I have to do it that way. I know that I'm getting the healthy cereal, some almonds, granola bars, and various other non-perishables to go into my bedroom. I already talked to her about yogurt. I'm getting myself a tub of yogurt and she's not to dip into it. If she wants yogurt she has to buy her own. I'll get plain low fat stuff so she's less likely to eat it. I'll just pair it with some fruit so it's not so disgusting when I go to eat it lol

Been drinking plenty of water, keeping my snacking in check, and now I just have to plan my dinner. Probably another salad like yesterday :D I'll add tomato, carrots, and chicken to this one.
