I really can’t post today. It’s too shocking, that for my company, this Friday is end of month. It is always the last Friday of the month. I have to get reports done, so I’m off to work very early today.😔 How do you know you’re an accountant? When your friends make fun of you for having no life.🥺
Enjoy your National Sticky Bun Day today, February 21st. A delicious pastry that comes rolled up and dripping with a sweet, sugary topping. Just what the FS family needs to know on our journey to lose weight and get in shape. Yet they're perfect with a hot cup of coffee in the early morning.😋 Yet, I think you’ll get bigger buns while eating these buns.🙃
Weatherman states yesterday, well that’s about it for the rain. Woke up and the front yard was flooded. It is pouring today and instead of having a weatherman, I think my hair should be the judge of whether it will rain or not. If it’s standing on end, then there’s tons of moisture, ready to fall. 😁

It is pouring here. I am not too bothered even though our roof could use a new roof. I guess the seriousness of it is going over my head.🙃
I didn’t eat my lunch yesterday as I usually bring a cold lunch and this one I had to heat up, I didn’t have time nor want to go through the effort to go to the microwave. Instead, I treated myself and my husband to a tiny bit of nachos last night. So calorie-wise, I think I did OK yesterday. I got my steps in, but I could have done better. Hope to do better today and finally start drinking my water. One feels so much better drinking water. I just have to get into the habit again. The only habit I've had lately is telling people all my bad habits.😕
It’s National Muffin Day, so I’m glad it’s pouring rain so I don’t go pick any up. Did you know that 'Muffins' spelt backwards...is what you do, when you take them out of the oven?👃😆

Unfortunately and fortunately, I don’t have any GirlScouts cookies in the house, as I make my lunch for the day. My hubby has Presidents’ Day off, not at my job, work, work work. So will bring a baked potato and may buy a sandwich on the way to work. I have bread in the house, yet no filler. Life is like a sandwich; you have to fill it with the best ingredients.👍😋
Going to leave early for work and skip some morning chores as my hubby is in bed. He’s a sleeper for he makes himself go to bed early, while I stay up all night.😔 There are many theories on why humans even need to sleep, but I’m pretty sure it’s to charge our phones.🤭
It’s raining here again in the state where it never rains. When it rains, it’s a “wetter” world out there!💧🙃

I love rice and can use chopsticks, but when you think about it is a bit ridiculous. I’m not all that good at chopsticks, for the piano was never my instrument.😄
Last night turned out OK, I ordered a nice dinner and three of us had the same thing. When the food arrived and we started eating my BIL, had a speech about all the calories was in the meal. I said OK I won’t eat it!!!😠 Sorry I didn’t face that with humor, I should have said, ‘You and gravity have the ability to bring me down!’🫤
I actually had a time I didn’t hate, except for him talking about calories, still he was the only one with the HUGE meal!!! We all took doggy bags home, yet he finished his. Actually, he does work out and as old as he is does Jiu-jitsu, so I feel self-conscious and feel his comments are always going out of their weigh to weigh me down.🙃😁
They didn’t talk about their European trip, yet talked about how poor they are all night. That’s one of my pet peeves being with them. They just came back from a huge vacation and live in a huge mansion and have all new cars and a Porsche. I am hoping for a new roof, I don’t need to hear his woes! We’re so poor, the ducks throw bread back at us. 😆 But, actually I hadn’t been with them for over a year and the get together wasn’t that bad, which was a blessing. Just trying to relate to the people I'm related to by putting the "fun" in dysfunctional part of the family.😄

I am doing an exceptional thing, I am going to dinner with my BIL and wife. I have the hardest time liking the time I spend with them. A lot of criticizing goes on to the point they are the most righteous couple, I can barely endure being with them. Yet, Friday I listened to a sermon that stated actually people like that are in need of attention and reassurance, that I should just roll with it, and sacrifice my feelings and give others a fulfillment of love and laughter that they need. So when I first said I am too busy to go to dinner my Father is telling me to go. It’s just when science finally locates the center of the universe, some people will be surprised to learn they’re not it.😳
I will have to eat a hefty hamburger before I go for I CANNOT enjoy a meal while I am with them, as I absolutely will be criticized if I eat and enjoy food around them, yet I can drink, so margaritas here I come!😆 They criticize themselves as well, which makes it hard, I just please want to cancel my subscription to your issues! Will have to be on top of my game of jokes and laughter, my hubby is great, as a team we can be pretty funny. 🙂 I have done strange and silly things I can talk about. Look at the President of the United States, you don’t have to be drunk to be a "jerk," just be yourself. 🤣
Okay, I am through complaining. I always have excuses not to go out with them, yet the sermon has changed my mind and my hubby’s best friend is gone, so I know he enjoys his brother. I have a lot to do today, let’s hope I am the person who can ignore all their talk, as they have just gone on a fancy vacation, while I am praying our roof holds out for the next rain this Monday. Maybe the roof will be the most inspiring thing in the world, as everyone has to look 👀 up to it.😐
