Well, after about a year of not making any time for a healthy lifestyle it's no surprise I've got an additional 20 pounds to show for it. I must be thinking that I'll magically stop gaining; that I'll reach that elusive point where the amount of calories I consume and burn are equal without any conscious effort on my part, and that I'll be content with the amount of food I'm eating. Sadly, I don't think that day will ever come. Time to get back on the wagon.

I'm thinking about making an appointment with a local Naturopath and coming up with a nutrition plan. Problem is, I hate cooking. I know it's going to be a necessary evil to live the dream, but did I mention, I hate cooking. Especially in the summer. Frozen foods are okay for about the first couple of weeks, but as it turns out, I also hate monotony. And if I had a dime for every piece of rotten fruit or vegetable in my refrigerator, I'd feel much better about the amount of money I've wasted on fresh produce. Throw in heel spurs and a thyroid condition and I've just listed some pretty nice excuses, eh?

So, excuses aside...here are some plan ideas:
1. Start counting calories again
2. Walk fast at least 30 minutes a day; run once weight comes down
3. Find iPod and charge it
4. Find out cost of nutrition plan with Naturopath
5. Do a juice fast for a week to help break the sugar addiction

Now, to implement it...
