So, an early journal entry for me today.I have learnt something about this site today-that the calorie expenditure on the exercise on here is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high and differs hugely to the machines at my gym (they are more plausable) I mean, a 25 min cycle ride, ok had hills in it but I burn't 133 cals according to the bike for my weight.Upon inputting it into here it worked it out as over 600!!! Massive difference as you can see, so now I input it ALL in now with my readings from the gym machines where I can.Has anyone else noticed this???
Worked hard at the gym today as I couldn't go Thursday gone.Ran for 30 mins on the treadmill non stop/non walk for the first time today covering a distance of 4.60km.I have ran 5k before but it was a run/walk jobby so this is a first and I'm so pleased with myself.No accounting for the aches I'm feeling now though. Long soak in the bath tonight I think!!

Well, that's my working week over with.Welcome the weekend.Lovely.Was on a long shift and stayed half hr overtime too just to support and encourage a patient before they went home from the department.So, after 11hrs I had gotten a little peckish and ate 2 small celebrations chocolates.Darn our patients giving us chocolates to express their thanks.hahaha.I'd kept off them all day.Nevermind, they were nice and a couple of chocolates are normal eating and I didn't have loads.Ate the rest of the yummy chicken drumsticks today after thawing out the whole packet yesterday.That will teach me for not splitting the packet upon purchasing.Anyway, big gym session tomorrow planned and lots of weights.Really need to learn more weight stuff and more abdo exercises.Maybe I'll book a PT sometime? hmmm.

Ok, so today I gained my first calorie counting buddy - hpmc. Then along came two more.Fantastic to have people to chat to and bounce off to keep the momentum going.Also nice to share ideas and results.
Really wanted to get a gym session in as I do when off work and the weekend days (so, 3 days a week) as I have grown to love it, very weird I know but yes it is true.However, the 24 hour open gym was closed today and will be tomorrow till teatime too-maintenance and redecoration works.
Felt sleepy today so didn't really put in any other effort exercise wise either (was going to have a run) but come Sat I shall be doing what I normally do and it WILL pay off.
Just made my pack up for work tomorrow so I will just enter that into the diet calendar now along with my lavender tea I am drinking before I go to bed tonight.

Long shift at work today and couldn't resist a 'bad' tea tonight from the local kebab house.As previously stated I am not on a diet and believe you should treat yourself from time to time to be able to keep this up for life so to speak. It was naughty I know but yes I enjoyed it and no I haven't gone 'off the rails'.Off to the gym tomorrow and I'm sure have made space for today's 'over' calories with previous days 'under' allowance.I will really enjoy the gym tomorrow though because of it.
