Up a bit this week, but I'm also feeling worn out from all the walking and on-the-fly strength training (aka doing squats holding kids). Normally, a gain on the scale would have me dropping every effort and returning to my old habits, but not today. I have also gone off plan for a few meals over the last several days. Not worried, just going to keep shifting on.
Bonus: kids found my measuring tape, so I can update those soon.

Feeling fantastic and SO in love with being alive. AltShift has helped me overcome so many of my bad eating habits, but more than that it has freed me from destructive thinking patterns and behaviors.
Yesterday I went for a lovely 2 hour walk with a new friend, and spent the entire time speaking in German. Good for the body and the mind! My love for myself is growing and my entire life is moving in a positive direction because of it. Does weight loss have anything to do with that? NO! But healthy changes to my sleep, stress management, eating, and thinking HAVE.

Feeling really good. My doctor wanted me to be at 114 kg for our appointment 4 April, and I am down to 112.4. I have been walking a lot more than "old" me would, practicing mindfulness meditation, and playing with the kids lots. Going to take some new progress pics in a couple weeks, and I'm excited to see the changes good habits and healthy food are having on my body.

Following the Altshift Diet protocol. I can see this as my way of eating forever. I have loads of energy during the day, I am happy to politely decline the tres leches my MIL brings over, I am sleeping better, and I never feel deprived. Really loving this. I know there will be instances when I deviate from the plan, but they will be conscious choices and I will pick back up and keep shifting on.
