Another day and I'm still sick but it has moved to my sinuses and I'm not achy. Was hungry so i made loaded scrambled eggs. A lot of carbs right off the bat. So I will have to focus on ground beef for lunch. Will try to drink water every hour but don't think I will exercise today, still a little weak. I guess I don't have to go gung ho with the diet but at least try to stay in the boundaries to learn the WOE.

Sat. morning and things are rough today. Had to work yesterday and was coming down with something all day. Hot and cold, achy, the whole 9 yards. Didn't do my best on my diet although I tried to stick to protein and managed to drink the whole box of beef broth! My throat felt sore and it felt soothing on my throat. Watched an excellent movie in bed and slept, but not well.
This morning I'm am extremely swollen, holding water probably from the 4 c. of broth yesterday. However, being sick is certainly the cause of my bloated face, especially eyes and cheeks. Feel a lot of sinus pressure. Took my morning pills and vit.C. Will sip coffee and try to let the fluid move out.
I am going to totally baby myself and stay in bed until I'm well. I want to stay on track with my diet however so I most likel will be etin g easy things like canned tuna. Sure would love some warm chicken Noodle soup! I'm out of broth so that's out, I'll have to settle for coffee and tea.
I refuse to blame my diet for being sick as my boss was sick at work Wednesday and I was out and about. Just do waht I can and hopefully get in my liquids. I don't know why but it was very hard yesterday to drink water as my throat was sore and it made the water taste unpleasant. Same with today. Just - do - my- best.

I really over ate today, darn! So many hidden carbs and too much for dinner. Need a nap! I think I'll relax and catch up on a few shows and maybe do a little free cell later. Tomorrow's another day! Work should be fun and I'll pack a healthy lunch. Going to drink some water. :)

Today I got a little crazy and shoveled my driveway. It is a very long steep driveway. I also shoveled the 29 steps down to our house. What a work out! I can barely walk and my husband laughed when I tried to reach something from the cupboard! I may have gone overboard as now my arms feel a little shakey. All good for me though. Going to watch a movie and relax, then have dinner. Going to stay on track and drink my water.

WOW! Just weighed myself and almost fell over! 179! Now that really feels good,the bloat is gone. But now I see the reality of the fat, amazing how fast I gained 35 pounds and how lumpy it looks on my body. There is sleek muscle under there somewhere and I HAVE to keep on track to find it. Going to go purchase the new Atkins book today so I hope to walk the mall briskly for at least 30 minutes to complete my challenge for the day. This really works! Thanks to so many helpful posts and success stories, I just want to feel their confidence!
