okay. so i met with the trainer last week and then BAM- nasty chest cold. so i havent worked out since i last met with her. disappointing...
anyway, this is day two on the serious watching grams and calories. i set my rdi and i went over. so this morning...i'm looking and seeing what i could have had LESS of. less snacks, that's for sure. 1 egg instead of two. tonight there will be chicken instead of steak. (how often do you eat steak, anyway?) today i have a salad for lunch but it's a hearty salad.
i didnt think i was eating that much fat when you look at the little pie chart at the bottom i realized how wrong i really was. i wish one of the sections on that chart included veggies...because i really do eat a whole lot of those and i feel like i'm not being accurately represented!
thank god for the food entry capabilities on here though!
that's all for now, folks. hopefully i'll see a drop this week because i can feel the gain frome easter/being sick/not working out.
three things:
1. silly bands (my kids love them...so fun!)
2. a good book to read while kids are taking pssa's

Okay, so, met with the trainer last night. She kicked my butt! I'm so sore in places I didn't know could be sore. I feel good, though! She set me a calorie plan and told me what percentage of everything I should be eating. I need to SERIOUSLY cut back on my carbs. So, for now, I'm abandoning points. It's a scary concept for me to grasp because I've lived my life according the points for the past four years of my life. So today I've been super hesitant about EVERYTHING I put in my mouth. Which is a good thing, I think! I'm going out to lunch with ladies from work and then I'm going out to dinner with HS friends. So...this probably isn't the best day to start but no day like the present, right? I think this might be something good for me because it's not a "fad" but it's something new so I'll be on high alert.
All of the exercises she gave me work cardio as well as muscle groups. So I'll be able to spend less physical time at the gym. So, we'll see! I really hope this change in pace/eating regime will show me the results I'm looking for!

I didn't eat after dinner last night! I had a pretty big dinner, though, but I had the points! The only thing I even consumed after dinner other than water was sugar free hot chocolate before bedtime.
I also went to the gym yesterday and did cardio for 40 minutes! Burned 440 calories.
I'm feeling good today! :)
Three Things I'm Grateful For:
1. No daylight savings time in Iraq...so I can talk to my friend more :)
2. Listening to the rain at night while laying in bed.
3. Realizing you had a good day without even struggling that much.

Had a good weekend. Friday night I went to Kutztown to see the roommate...got in a little bit of an "accident" on the way there but decided to continue on my journey instead of going home. I had a lot of fun and didn't overdo it on food! Had some perogies while drunk...but only about 3 and could have done much worse! I had about four long island iced teas...and a shot...oh well.
Saturday I had an okay breakfast...a wawa salad...then some other random assorted thnigs before passing out and sleeping 12 hours. lol.
Yesterday went to see my brother play baseball and had chinese food. GROSS. Although I had more veggies, mai fun noodles (which arent fried or dripping in sauce...) and sushi. I was proud of my choices. :)
Here's to a GOOD WEEK. The scale was up a little this morning but I felt really good getting dressed. I'm hoping it's just the sodium from chinese and I'll be down in weight this week! My goal is to do cardio for 45 minutes today, lift tomorrow, and do 1 hr of cardio on wednesday. :)
