Plateau I think. I've done exercise 3 days so far this week and taken the stairs the other days. I've upped my water intake to 4 cups a day for the past week. Maybe it's water weight? Either way, it's not going up and I'll keep doing what I'm doing and hopefully there will be some progress next Friday 😁

Not much. Still working out (I can do 10 flights of stairs with only a few pauses near the top now!) but I ate too much on the weekend and that put me back a bit. I let my cheat day turn into a weekend. But not this weekend! I can't let the weekend give me twice as much work to do during the week to see a loss on the scale Friday morning. Not worth it

Oof! Sore legs today! Typical case of me trying to do too much lol I did my nerd fitness beginner bodyweight workout Monday. It was awesome. Tuesday I discovered the 5BX workouts and while the exercises were simple I was all pumped when I was finished and decided to try taking the stairs instead of the elevator....I live on the 10th floor 😑 I made it up 6 flights which I'm very proud of myself for that but legs were definitely tired. Then to compound that I ended up carrying stuff (5 trips worth of stuff) up a flight of stairs at work today! My legs are officially toast for the day. I think I'll do yoga and stretches for today's exercise.
My goal this month is to try to do some form of exercise every day. So maybe instead of a big workout every day I'll do a workout 3 days and yoga in between to help stretch any soreness out. I used to be in very good shape and at one point could bench press 200lbs but that was before kids and a desk job.... So I keep trying to rush back even though I know the baby steps will get me there in time..... Patient I am not lol but I'm working on it.

I discovered a new type of exercise program today called the 5BX. Stands for 5 basic exercises. It was created in the 1950's by the Canadian army to keep the airmen and general troops in good shape. It's a very gradual, step by step progressive set of exercises. You literally start from the bottom up and there's 6 charts all more advanced than the last for men and 4 for women (it's much simpler and less strength training). There's even age recommended levels! I think it's really cool and worth a shot. Since this 1950's workout pamphlet cost 50 cents and sold over 25 million copies and is apparently where most of today's fitness comes from! I did level 1 today. Super easy until I got to exercise 5. That had me puffing a little lol I'm more out of shape than I thought!
