well, here's hoping me lasagne photo shows up seeing as I have dragged and dropped from messenger rather than copying and pasting. Sometimes my pics don't arrive....
Anyway it's your bog standard lasagne made with meat/tomato sauce, bechamel sauce, spinach and the lasagne sheets - which in this instance were made with some dodgy product called 'edamame' pasta. I think it's some kind of bean husk product, 100% fibre, completely indigestible but not tough, reasonably soft...
It doesn't swell up, and it doesn't take up much water from the lasagane so I'm really glad I reduced the meat sauce, and didn't expect much from the lasagne sheets.
But it was super yum. so good. Thumbs up to edamame lasagne sheets.

I'm having moments of ketosis - where you forget you have a stomach at all, you just are unaware of it. Which is fabulous, because otherwise a lot of the time I'm either nauseous, or hungry, or nauseousandhungry, or crampy, or ... something. it's like...
You know when you're in a speed boat, and you're pootling along through the waterways before you get out of the harbour, and you're down in the water. And then at some point you get free water and you push that throttle forward and zoom, you're up in the water.
There's no intermediate between down and up in the water. You're either in it, or above it. (apart from a 2 second transition but bear with me.) and then you can go up and down as you speed up and slow down, but being up is exhiliarating and wonderful, and being down is .. slow and annoying.
That's what I'm doing right now. been down in the water for a year, now after 2 weeks back on keto, i'm finding myself up and zooming, here and there, now and again.
Can't wait till I'm so thoroughly back that I just am zooming all the time. :)

Hello possums!
Day 3 of bento box lunches.
sugar free chocolate. yum. sugar free indonesian drinks taste of real fruit and ... baking soda? Ingredients: water, citric acid, lemon juice, as the top ingredients. tastes wonderfully real. the other one was Mandarin flavoured. oh wow. so good.
Seem to be getting hungrier by lunch, bento box is growing. :D Happy enough to eat my main amount of food at lunch time, and then have a light tea (supper for the americans). I've bumped up the steak, cheese, macadamias and tomatoes. Sugar free yoghurt, with 1/2 a small pear and a large strawberry in it. omg. gom gom gom.
As to the dicky ticker: eating the steak for iron, b12 for heart rate, and I have found out if I get up, have a large glass of water immediately, my heart rate levels off.
last night sitting on couch it went down to 88bpm resting rate. That is a heckton down from 114. I has a happy.

back in the game!
I had a heart scare, they took my bloods and everything was off the charts. ahem.
Heart rate dangerous - so I'm on Jardiance, which sucks 60 g of sugar out of my daily intake and thereby makes life achievable.
I have peed out 4.5kg in the last 6 1/2 days.
Keto was so hard at 20g a day, I kept putting off getting back on it. But heart scare + jardiance (unfunded, so $80/mth) = seriously renewed vigor.
60g free carbs a day is a game changer. Absolute game changer. I can't believe my luck. A week in, I'm feeling a heckton better, less exhausted, more awake, just back on form. And I'm making 2 lunches at a time and storing them in the fridge at work. :D
Pic of bento box for lunch. Don't know if Americans do it, but I absolutely love it. it's like a little kindy treat box for infants.
(PS dangit it cut off the edges of the photo.)
