Pneumonia. I have pneumonia. Been sick in bed for more than a week. Finally saw a Dr yesterday and am on several medications. Took a slight upturn this morning, but still very sick and weak. What a way to diet eh? except for the fact that my throat has been desperately sore for a few days and I decided that raspberry sherbert is the key to comfort. Sprite has also been high on my list of consumables. Not good diet food but has kept me more comfortable.
am very sad that my challenges have fallen by the wayside and that my food diary has been neglected. Thinking about another week of recovery and then begin again. I hope it doesn't take a week, but am trying to be patient with myself. I haven't been this sick in a really long time.

I have come down with a cold. It makes me tired and cranky. So I ate a big, chocolate muffin yesterday. Didn't record food yesterday and now I can't remember what I ate except that muffin.
I can't seem to find protien powder in the list of foods either, so I just put "milk" as an ingredient in my shake this morning. will have to look around some more. Still struggling a bit on how to use this site. Very glad I found it though.

ACK! Well, I was being good and cooking a delicious vegan mushroom soup to have this week and the mushrooms needed some wine. So I opened a bottle, and what the mushrooms didn't need I drank. Empty calories, but a delicious Merlot! So this morning I woke up a bit hung over so I decided to fix it with a breakfast burrito and a pepsi. Definately helped my head but not so good for the rest of me. My breakfast was half of my entire calorie count for today. Yikes.
so far I haven't been that healthy and haven't followed a vegan fat free very well at all. I mean really....sausage, cheese, eggs, and sour cream for breakfast? Sheesh!!! Oh well, I know I have fabulous, delicious, good for me mushroom soup waiting for dinner. Maybe I will bake a wonderful loaf of whole grain bread to go with it.

Went to the gym for the first time in many months. Only did 20 minutes on the treadmill but felt great. Finished up with a few yoga stretches.
Exercise is key! Getting consistant with exercise is a goal for this week.
