I have just been told that I am officially a diabetic needless to say I do not ever want to have to take insulin soooooo controlling sugars and carbohydrates are paramount even though breads, tuber veggies ie potatoes turnips etc are my favorite foods. This needs to be a lifestyle change and as an older woman this is going to be very difficult. I have allergies to certain foods and also certain foods no longer like me such as broccoli eggs bananas cantaloupe and many others having a difficult time finding foods I can eat actually so this is the beginning by the way that picture is 40 lbs ago not because I dieted though because I got sick now I want to continue on purpose
