I am 36 years old. I have always been athletic, but as I get older I see that I need to be more aware of the fact that I take for granted my health. I always weighed 155lbs straight through college right up until I was expecting my 1st child. After having four wonderful kids, I have managed to hold onto 45 extra pounds. I am determined to loose them! I wear the weight well, but I know it is there and it does affect everything, including how well I move and stiffness. I did the atkins program after my 3rd child and lost all the weight felt great. Our surprise 4th blessing did me in! I was afraid to do the diet while pregnant so I "sacrificed" and went off. And I haven't gotten back. She is now 7 and an incredible gymnast. AS I watch my kids train, I am slightly jealous of their strength and muscle tone. So I am tired of sitting back and watching my children be fit, strong and healthy. I am determined to be that too, if for no other reason then I want more time with them!
Okay so here are some minor goals:
191 pounds now
180 lbs by 10/22
170 lbs by 11/22
160 lbs by 12/22
155 lbs by new year! I will have to work really hard to loose those last 5 that quick.
