Summer of 2019 I was 203 lbs! According to CDC guidelines for BMI, I should be between 118 and 159. I started Keto in August. So far I've lost 45 lbs. in 6 months. I've fallen off the wagon quite a few times, but right back on again. As with any diet, it's not so much what you eat, but how MUCH you eat. There is no such thing as an easy diet. Some people have the DNA that keeps them skinny even though they eat and drink the same as me. Mine is the opposite. I gain weight just from looking at food. It's hard to realize you've been eating too much all your life, then change your mind set and life style. I drank beer all my life and quit when I started Keto. It's much easier to believe Keto is a bad diet than to stick to it. No it isn't for everybody, and every diet has it's pros and cons. With my doctor checking liver and kidney functions and last week changing my cholesterol medication from 40mg to 20mg (!!!), I feel good about my health. If you have time, read the link below, and watch all the way through!
