I am turning 30 years old this year. I am a Realtor, and despite the busy lifestyle I usually made time to exercise and eat healthy. Although I have never been "big" I did want to tone up my muscles about 18 months ago, and through the Slim-Fast diet and daily exercise I achieved a gradual weight loss of 10 lb and many inches, and indeed toned up perfectly.

My downfalls are two things: celebratory eating, and gourmet drinks. Being successful at my job means having a lot to celebrate all the time (being elected to an important board, reaching the next million dollars in volume, selling a home to a high-profile person, etc) and it is hard not to gorge on enchiladas, margaritas and guacamole when you are out celebrating it with friends or co-workers! Not to mention all the broker open houses where they serve a big lunch, and company meetings filled with doughnuts, fried chicken, or ice cream. And drink-wise, I normally drink Diet Pepsi or Diet Dr. Pepper, or add the calorie & sugar free Crystal Light packets to a bottle of water, BUT I love gourmet coffee drinks, and deluxe drinks or shakes from Sonic, and margaritas and other alcohol.

I'm also a huge perfectionist, so anytime I derail even a tiny bit from my daily diet I tend to think, "Well today is ruined" and then eat crappy. I know that's wrong but it's just how I am.

Needless to say all my tone is lost, and I am back on the diet and exercise wagon now that the holidays have passed. I am on the Flat Belly Diet and about half the food I eat is organic. I am planning a cruise for my 30th birthday in September, and of course I want to look perfect again when I'm on it. My weight loss goal is about 15 lb, but more important than the weight I lose is the tone I gain.
