Was diagnosed with Diabetes in Nov 2016. Stopped eating sugar right away, but did not limit carbs until Jan 2016. Going on walks every evening with my husband has been uplifting. We went from 20 min walks to 40 min walks in 2 weeks. Doctor prescribed Actos, but I refuse to take it. I will get the numbers down with diet and exercise. Also am adding extra vitamins that are known to lower blood sugar levels.
