Brand new jeans and they didn't fit. I was bummed. Immediately after that I just gave up and thought "I'm probably gaining the body of a woman who should look like this because I have a child". That was a silly thought. It shouldn't be like that. I'm only 33 years old. To a teenager I must be old, but in reality it is the primetime of my life.

My breaking point was sitting on my 33rd birthday with the most flexible jeans I owned and having to unbutton them because they are so tight I couldn't sit. So I unbutton them and wear this big long coat to hide all the fat. Who am I kidding. I'm only hiding it from my thought.

I really just was very depressed about it and it consumed my thoughts. I just thought "it if really bothers me then I have to do something about it". Infomercials are kind of cool and motivating, but I really needed to find something that works. So since Weight Watchers was something I tried in 2004 I thought it was successful enough back then to give it a try now. Well I did, and I am amazed at the results. I also started running and now I am training for a half marathon that is scheduled to take place on June 6th 2009. I couldn't even run 2 miles without pretty much dying. Now I'm running over 12 miles, I'm shocked and ecstatic that I'm able to share this with people.

I'm down over 12 lbs, and still would like to loose 9 more for my ultimate goal. I do think it is possible if we commit to somthing and really stick to it.

I'm glad I found about this site through my cousin who inspires me. We are all in this together, so why not make it happen.
