My name is Sherrie,
I have been up and down on my weight for years. I am trying to lose my extra weight and keep it off. I started my weight-loss journey at 230 lbs.
A little back story, about a year and a half ago I had 2 doctors telling me I'd most likely never walk again. I was stuck in a wheelchair. I no longer see those doctors. I can walk(with a cane, or on really bad days, a walker)! In your face doctors!!! Not only can I walk, but I can exercise and have been.
I do Zumba, I have my walker in front of me, just in case, but for the most part, I am doing it. I sometimes have to hold on to keep my balance or if pain starts to be too bad. I don't always get the upper body workout, but right now I am strengthening my legs. I will walk without an aid, I am going to do it!
I also suffer from Non-Epileptic Seizure Disorder(that just means they can't figure out why i have them). I will not let these things get me down. I suffer from depression, also. I do have to take medications everyday for all my conditions(which I hate), but it has to be.
I'm usually a happy person, and like to be encouraging. I try not to let things get me down, I will not let depression win! I am going to win, with a little help from my friends!! :-)
