Nearly 50 year old wife and mother who has been dieting all her life. I love to knit and read and play video games. I also love my bootcamp classes but if I didn't pay my trainer, I would be really lazy!
I'm not following any particular diet, but my husband and I are actively pursuing a plant-based diet in 2019 for the health benefits, the environmental impact, and economics.
At this time I'm not really interested in getting to an "ideal weight" but I know I feel better when I'm closer to 230 than 280...and my doctor is happier with my blood test results!
I do struggle with emotional eating, and tend to feed my anxiety, but I always over-eat on healthy food (bring on that hummus!)
