Hi,
My name is Kat. I am currently 21 years old and I'm no stranger to the weight loss world. I've struggled with my weight since I was little girl. Gaining and losing constantly. It's a total pain in the arse.
I was pretty healthy in high school, playing volleyball and involved in rowing, and I was doing well in college too for the most part. I didn't start gaining weight until my sophomore year and from that point on. I gained a lot of weight.
When I was younger I remember telling myself I would never be over 200lbs. So when I weighed myself back last year (my junior year) I wanted to just die when I saw the scale over 240 pounds. I couldn't believe it. I hadn't even noticed. I had lied to myself continuously that the pants were just being made smaller and that's why I was going up in sizes. I had gone from 11/12 to a size 17.
Well, I tried starting an exercise regimen last year but it didn't work out for me. I ended up quitting. But this year, it was my senior year and I thought to myself I don't want to look back at my graduation photos and be horrified by the way I looked so I decided to take some action.
And I have.
I have been working my butt off and I'm happy to be under 200lbs and I don't want to be over ever again. I'm in the home stretch at this point with graduation in May, I hope to be at my goal.
Thanks for reading!
