Day fifteen of my 90 day program was a refeed day after 72 hr fast. I got to work and had planned to break my fast but had a client right away, so put off until after 11. Not super hungry, but I felt a little dizzy after walking 4 miles. It was a lovely morning, I only drank one keto coffee and a regular coffee.
I had prepared my food for work at much higher calories than my program calls for, but I was afraid I would not have enough to refeed. I ended the day overeating and too much salt. Next week I think I will try harder to get through Monday like a normal work week. It's funny, I can fast all day, but get this fear on day's I eat that I'm going to get hungry. I know it does not make sense, but it's real to me. The only way I can prove to myself I'm okay is to work it out next Monday.
These irrational fears surrounding food are strange. I guess I'm just becoming aware of them as I plan my meals on fatsecret, journal my experience, and get feedback from all of you awesome lifestylers. Anyway, I have to go back into yesterdays meal planner and add some extra stuff I ate. I hate that!
Today I will pray for people with fear about food. Have a great day everyone.

I went on 3 days of low calories liquid intake this last weekend and discovered yesterday when I came off of it that I really didn’t WANT to eat. LOL I’m still having trouble wanting to put food in my mouth. So it’s weird the reactions we have, huh? 🙋🏻♀️

Thinks, this got me thinking about what I plan to eat when I break my fast on Thursday. I WANT to eat a McDonald's Double Quarter pounder with cheese. That would put me in the hospital after an 11 day fast. I now plan to get a smoothie at Jamba Juice...

You are doing really well Steven. Thinking through difficulties will lead you to ultimate success. I think everyone has fears about something or other. I get weird when I chew sugar free gum b/c I can chew a whole pack of it (binge mentality) and then I feel like I cheated. So I stay away from it most of the time. Does "refeed" just mean you break your fast or does it mean more?

@Smprowett, yes, it's so weird how we react to eating. @Adefwebserver, glad you are thinking about how to break a longer fats. I heard from Dr. Fung that people have a lot of success with a few tablespoons of flax seed or psyllium husk soaked in water for 5 minutes, then just eat it 30 minutes before any other food. @ Ny_shelly, thanks for the encouragement, I love some sugar free gum, it holds be over when things get rough.
