Just a few thoughts...

I eat more un healthy foods when I'm in a happy place as far as life goes. I havet been un happy in a very long time. I love my job. I love my home. I love my family (a bf, a dog, and a cat.) I honestly can't really complain about anything. Well I could complain about my weight but whining doesn't get anything done. I almost ALMOST want something stressful to come along just because I know I'll better when I'm stressed. (I'm knocking on wood that nothing bad happens).

Ha my bf's diet consists of nothing but junk food and beer. To be fair he's allergic to fruits, vegetables, nuts and a million other things. His throat even starts to swell if drinks orange juice. He can canned veggies but doesn't like the taste because he's not used to eating them. Its really weird I know. Anyways, my point, he started standing while watching TV and doing weird rotating crunch type exersizes. He lost 20lbs... not fair. WE are drinkers. I used to have 3-4 beers a night at least. He still drinks a lot every night. I have cut down to having 1-2 drinks (not beer) once or twice a week. We used to eat everything together. It seems we make to seperate meals when we cook together. He'll eat most of the meat and starch. I eat a little meat and starch and ALL the veggies. For some reason it doesn't really bother me. I think it should.

I forgot how much walking for 20 min can hurt lol

I don't miss drinking nearly as much as I thought I would.

I'm not going to quit smoking. Not being stubborn. I'm going to die eventually. 1 day I might change my mind but today isn't it.

My kids are a dog and a cat. Ash is a pit/boxer. Kenji is more of a dog than Ash and spawned from hell. I love the cat more anyways.

Hi there, just looking in on you. Good job on the cutting back drinking. I have been there (am in my late 30's now) and don't much miss it either. I could give or take it. My bf is a wine drinker and I will sit there and either not have any or pour a glass and only drink half. The smoking you can work on later, I quit when I was pregnant with my first and opted to stay quit. Looks like you at least are gaining awareness of the food and how it affects you. Glad you are happy but think you will be more happy when you are where you want to be (weight and health wise). Hope your week goes well, I am back to work.

Hey, you. I completely understand where you're coming from as far as eating when you're happy. When I was depressed, I lost a lot of weight (I call it the Alcohol and Depression Diet), but put on 30 pounds when I got married. Also, pit bulls rule! I have two pit mixes and rescue pits whenever I can.
