Went to the doctor today. My A1C dropped from 11.2 to 6.5 which is good. I did it mostly with diet but I still need small amounts of insulin and a pill 2x a day. I know I have to do more consistent fasting if I want to get off of these meds.
Unfortunately, high blood pressure runs in my family and I had to add a blood pressure med. I am hoping if I keep losing weight I won't have to be on those meds but I am so far from that it's really not worth thinking about.
Next time I want to binge eat I am going to think about the choice. Do I want to be 289 or do I want to binge eat?
Other choices: ask for help on FS, call someone, take a walk, journal, mindful meditation
My good choice for today: Was still hungry after breakfast so I stopped and got a berry basket - blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries. Just ate some until I was full. These are all good choices b/c they do not spike your blood sugar.
