Allright. Im scared. Ive been fat for so long im kinda used to it. Im scared to be succesful. My mom passed away at the age of 57 from years off poor diet,nutrition and smoking. When it finally did click with her to change her lifestyle after adapting the life of kidney dialysis it was too late. I saw for myself first hand that food is addicting. It is a drug that numbs pain and always accepts you no matter what. Sadly She passed away from Kidney failure. I guess im at a point where im so desperate to get healthy im putting out all my business to strangers. Im weak. Food has always been my best friend. Food is what I run too when I cant deal with everything. Something strange happend last nite I couldn't eat the pain away. It did nothing for me. I just felt more empty inside. I know i can do this. Just scared is all. I want to live! I want to defy my genetics and years of learned behavior! I want to raise my little girl. I also turn 30 this summer and I want to wear that damn size fourteen dress!! Lol... Im ready to do this!

Welcome! It sounds like you are ready for a change. Try not looking at this as a "diet". It's a healthier eating habit and if you look at the foods you are to eat you can tell that's all it is. I'm sorry to hear about your mom and I can understand why you are scared. This is a great site for support. The people here are wonderful and some of us have already "put out all of our business to strangers" too. You will find that some have been in the same boat as you, going through the same struggles of changing the bad habits. I will admit, the first day is the hardest and a lot of others will tell you the same. Once you get past the first day, it just gets easier each day. Best of Luck to you and if you have any questions, ask away, you will be amazed by the responses you get and how everyone here tries to help in some way.

Welcome to your new lifestyle! You have come to the right place, we all know what you are going through and we will all be here for you! You have the right attitude to get things started, now you just have to do it! First off, don't think that food can't still be your best friend, just concentrate on the healthy food...you still get to eat and probably a lot more then you do now, it is just food that is good for you!!! If you stick with it you will defiantly have great success in losing weight and also great success on a healthy lifestyle! I wish you the best of luck and always remember we are here for you...don't look at us as stranger, look at us as long lost friends that feel your pain! Hang in there girl, we will get you through this!

Welcome to the FS Diet website. This is an awesome place to be. I am 52 and have dieted for so long I hate the word diet. The key is to learn how to eat healthy. I did the FS Extreme diet a year ago and lost 27 lbs. Then I was in an auto collision, was hurt for a while and gained 17 back. I had to have surgery on my shoulder last Sept. I am just now trying to get back to the gym and stick to the diet (or eat healthy) as much as I can. I have lost all but 4 lbs (till weigh in tomorrow) that I regained. The FS Extreme diet taught me the most how to eat healthy. I don't always stick to the diet, but I try to eat healthy. You and I weigh the same at this very moment, so stick with it, it really isn't hard, just a change of eating and attitude. Maybe you and I can be buddies and try to help each other lose the weight we want to lose. Keep it in mind. Good luck!!

Tanks so much for the support! Im deeply touched. Im so thankful for all the encouraging words and optimistic attitudes! Well I let superbowl sunday get the best of me.I made some better food choices than others and to balance everything out really watched what I ate yesterday. Your right im learning its not a diet where I restrict myself put learn to eat the right portion and incorparate more healthy fare into my everyday eating. I need to develop a healthy view about food and start setting the example for my daughter. I messed up yesterday im not happy about it but i didn't use it as an exuse to give up and binge. I know its baby steps....God bless you guys and thank you. I will have udates later on today. I think I need more sleep
