Contacted FatSecret again about people with high bmis not being able to join the site but after 21 months they still say they don't have a timeframe on when/if they will fix the problem. It can't be that difficult since no other food tracking site I've tried has balked at my high bmi.
I don't know what the cut-off is but with my weight and my real height put in I would just get a pop-up telling me how high my bmi is. Apparently the developer(s) made people like me outside of their parameters lol
It's weird to think I'm too fat for my height to join a weight loss site with "Fat" in its name :-)

Your height workaround is perfect. Many of us don't use the FatSecret generated RDI and set our own after researching on other sites anyway.

Every time I open the app, it warns me about being dangerously obese. Good on you for work-around!
