So, I am entering my final weight loss phase. 27 lbs to go. My plan is to eat 1700 calories a day in two meals, Monday to Thursday, and in one meal Friday morning. I will fast three days, from Friday morning after breakfast to Monday morning. The plan is for 90 days in deep ketosis. I will drink my water with lemon and apple cider vinegar each day. I have an eating plan from ketoconnect that I will adapt to my foods.

NMy_Shelly, thanks so much! I've been practicing fasting, and intermittent fasting, as well as calculating how much I am actually eating. Now I will just put my head down and go for it.

Sounds like a plan. Next week I plan to do a 7 day water only fast because the starting of a fast is the most painful part :)

Fasting lowers your insulin and raises your leptin so you are able to burn fat rather than store it. It also allow autophagy. Jason Fung, MD explains it all on Youtube. There is much information on the current science of fasting available on youtube.
