I didn't record a journal entry yesterday because I was too tired. I was also having the cravings from h-ll! I couldn't sleep they were so bad. I prayed hard and they finally got enough better that I could sleep. It has been so long since I've had bad cravings, I'd forgotten how tough it is to get through them. I tried some of the Beck Diet Solution anti-craving techniques but the only thing that helped last night was prayer. I am normal today. Thank God! I had some strawberries again and they didn't trigger me and I had some cheese today and it didn't trigger me so it was either the fajitas, the almonds or the whipping cream. I'm determined to track down the culprit. It may not even be a food trigger although they were so severe I'd be very surprised if food wasn't the trigger.
I am very concerned today because a good friend of mine just went to the hospital and I am far away and don't know what is going on. My time to pray again. That seems like a theme this week. I am going on a 3 1/2 day retreat on Thursday and I don't know if I will have a laptop or computer access to post so I may be out of touch for a few days. Anyone want to suggest good things to pack - so far I've been told shakes, Atkins bars, pickles, olives, pepperoni and cheese sticks and low-sugar jerky. That should get me through OK. With prayer.
The Beck Diet Solution task for the day is to change your definition of full. The author suggests that you should easily be able to take a moderate to brisk walk after each meal, if not she says you are overfull and need to change your definition of fullness.

Good Job getting through the cravings. I hope everything turns out ok for your friend. You both will be in my thoughts.

I am new and the first week my cravings killed me. i am a get up at 2am and eat the 6 brownies left no one will know but i noticed my midnight snak attack still comes andi started using jello its worked wonders and settels the sweet tooth.
