Woke at 214.6, down 1.8 from yesterday. Blood ketones were at .4 millimolar. Not happy about that but I'm never really hungry anymore and I'm in a continual calorie deficit, so I must be using body fat. There is a platter of jellybeans, chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies, and peeps out for Denise and the kids. The picture is on my Facebook page, but I won't share it here out of respect for members just beginning. I went off the rails big time with Easter treats in years past so I'm abstaining from it all. Wish I could get Denise and my adult kids to adopt the sugar-free lifestyle but I think they will come to it. They certainly get enough of the info through my example and the YouTubes I play continually! This month I'm going to adjust my macros just a tiny bit -- 120 protein per day, 20 net carbs, and the rest in fat. I think the April 2018 experiment will be One Meal a Day (OMAD) with a stronger commitment to keto level carb intake. Finished March 2018 at almost 29 net carbs per day average and that needs to go down by 10 if I'm to truly give keto a shot at success. I also will do five days of Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD) as I do at the beginning of each month. But as today is Easter and I'm speaking at and attending a conference all week long, I'm going to hold off on both FMD and OMAD until next Friday. Happy Easter, everyone!
