I weigh myself every day, but don't post it every day. It will go up 1 pound or fractions of a pound even if I am eating exactly what I should. Sometimes I weigh myself in the morning after going to the bathroom and weigh myself and don't like it. I won't eat or drink anything and go for a 3 or 4 mile walk, come back, weigh myself and my weight will be down. It doesn't always make sense but as long as the trend is down, the daily changes don't really matter. This is what I figure - and I don't mean to be indelicate - 2 things need to happen to lose weight. #1 and #2. #1 is easy, you drink you pee. Sometimes you go to the bathroom and weigh yourself and expect a loss and there isn't one. Sometimes I wait an hour or two with no food or drink and pee again and I'll be down .4 to .6 pounds. But sometimes it can take a couple days for #2 to happen if you are eating a lot less than before. Until #2 happens, for me I know I won't show a loss. So if you are up a little today, you'll probably be down a little more tomorrow.
