Not gonna lie, was a little disappointed with dropping only a few ounces this past week--especially coming off a 6 pound loss after my first week of going keto. But okay, I'm shaking that off and looking at the bright side. Namely, my belly is shrinking. The sugar cravings have evaporated. My energy is increasing. I'm sleeping better at night (and pop up like toast in the morning). I feel satisfied after eating, instead of preoccupied by what and when my next meal will be.
All good stuff. So, if you're like me and monitoring your weight weekly, just hang in there when the scale doesn't reflect the number you want to see. Focus on your macros, getting your exercise in and getting your rest. Good things come to those who wait (and keep Keto!).
