I started my weight loss when I reached 298 pounds. I have lost 24 pounds within the past 2 months, but I feel myself starting to get complacent. Although one of my family members is considering the Gastro Bypass surgery for themselves, I am not yet ready to take such a serious leap without at least trying to do it myself first. I don't want just a quick fix, I want a lifestyle change. I want to teach my five kids how to do this right, so that they will never have to face the same hurdles and same decisions that I am facing right now. I know I can do this because I have already started to do it, with some positive results. My next goal is just to continue with what I have already started.
