Last week's weigh in did not go as well as I had hoped, but I still lost!!! I really want to lose 2.2 pounds a week, or 8.8 pounds each month until I reach my goal weight. I am really having difficulty in becoming more active. However, that being said, I commit to earning 3 activity points this week!!! Because the weather is so cold here and there is a lot of snow on the ground, I will use a workout dvd that I have...wish me luck!!

Good start. . . but you'll really need to try to earn more than 3 APs (activity points) per week in order to lose weight at the rate you want to lose it. You can earn 2 APs just for 30 minutes of moderate exercise. . . any in-home exercise video will certainly help you earn that! But exercising 1x per week definitely is not enough, if you want to try to lose 2.2 pounds per week consistently. I know it stinks to hear that, but it's generally true. If you're trying to ease into things, shoot to exercise 3x per week for 30 minutes, and increase that to 5 days a week when you're able to (or the weather warms up!). Good luck to you!
