Does anyone have suggestions on ways of eating dark leafy greens in the morning? I've been adding it to my morning oats but I can't really get a full serving in without it taking over oats.
I might go back to morning smoothies, but I'd like other options.

Spinach added to eggs is amazing... add some mushrooms and onions and cheese and it's perfect!

Thanks everyone for the recommendations.
Murph is straight to the point: I like it and will probably give it a try.
I'll probably do smoothies on the weekend, where I will have less of an excuse to not pull out the blender.
I don't eat eggs, so I won't take that option. Thanks for the recommendation though.

What about like a greens powder? I read somewhere not long ago that it takes 18 cups of spinach to reach your daily goal.

Oh Patty, l really meant it.
Instead of dicing & slicing, l
me..Murph would use the
long leafy lettuce as a side dish. How would you have said it..one who thought about saying it? lol

CarmenR4322: Dr. Greger (from nutritionfacts.org) recommends 2 servings (1/2 cup cooked) a day in his daily dozen list, but I'm sure more the better. I'm aiming for the 2 servings and if I like it, I'll see about increasing.

I drink green smoothies daily, I use kale and spinach in mine but you can use other kinds of greens too. Check out www.simplegreensmoothies.com for recipes.
