It was a pretty good day today. I was a bit hungry before lunch - not sure why. Maybe I am still reacting to the macadamia nuts I ate the other day. I ate eggs and bacon for lunch because I just wanted them. I am getting a little better at balancing the veggie carbs, total carbs, and calories. It makes it easier if I put my food into my food journal before I eat it so I can see when I need to adjust things later in the day to get everything in w/out going over my carbs/calories or under my veggie carbs. I am drinking 1/2 my weight in oz. of water as much as possible. I planned to exercise today but I didn't fit it in ( I admit it watching the Oscars was more important today than walking at the mall). I tried to avoid my diet drinks but didn't succeed then I tried to just drink 1/2 of one and I also failed at that. I don't know why i'm so hooked on the darn things. I'll try again tomorrow to avoid my diet drinks. Tomorrow is also my weigh-in day so I hope I've lost some weight. My ketone strips are always turning dark purple so that is good.
