Have given up lunch meat completely which has helped a great deal. Far less sodium and preservatives on a daily basis. I still eat sandwiches though; 15 grain bread with cucumber and tomato, or pimento cheese spread. Sometimes sliced home roasted meats which are wonderful. I'm beginning to eat more fruits now. And my liking for sweets is going down. I had a birthday cupcake they brought me at chapel that was from the local grocery...it was so sugary and horrible. I thanked them for the cupcake but quietly threw it away.
