@glen, in many ways, I feel my outside finally matches my personality, I've always had a bubbly, flirty,personality, I was just more shy because I was ashamed of how I looked.
On the other hand, since my personality hasn't really changed all that much, I sometimes catch myself looking at my own reflection and not recognizing it, because I'm still me and "me" was a big girl!!
Hope it kinda makes sense, I'm still trying to wrap my head around it, obviously!!
It's honestly a little sad how differently I'm treated by strangers now. I get looked at, asked out, and have doors held open for me (even if I'm far from the door) by men. Women don't like me as much as they used to, very sad!

Jenibeann, I understand where you are coming from on noticing the different way you are treated. 🙋🏻I always felt fat. (Even when I wasn't!) 🙆🏻When disability finally put me there though I suddenly had many more female friends and men were much more rude. 🙅🏻LOL I found it a relief, coming from a background of sexual abuse, but I knew it was something I would have to work at diligently if I did have weight loss surgery. 🙇🏻♀️So, like you, I've been on both sides. But unlike you, my mirror is now more closely matching what I remember. LOL I just have to find a better way to deal with people's reactions to it! 🤷🏻♀️

OMG GIRL! I don't even know you and I am soooooooooooo proud of you!!! You are amazing and have done so well for yourself!!! I love seeing this in people... the drive to better themselves and improve their overall health!!! This picture seriously makes me so happy! I am 30 years old and I have just started my health improving journey. Granted, I didn't start where you did... but I was extremely unhealthy in general... gosh, I just can't get over how amazing you look and how well you've done!!! Keep it up, you are doing wonderful! If you ever need to talk, let me know!!!!!!!!! I'm here. By the way, I have 3 kids and it is hard to do this with kids...
