makparis's Journal, 02 Mar 10

It's over!! I've been stressing out for the past week over my English mid-term and it's finally over! I feel good about it and I got good news today that I got an A+ on my History test and paper. So, I have a small window of relief in the busy school storm to take a breath and relax. No classes until next Thursday. I'm doing my best to always relax, trust God to show me what I need to know, guide my study habits and keep me on track - yet, I still stress myself out. Part of the pressure comes from my son and nieces who's grades have been less than stellar and the family is using me as an example for them.

I was told recently that stress is counter productive to weight loss, so I'm thinking I may have to take up yoga or even better: boxing, as a stress release.

It's been a good day - YAY!! I wish you all the best for your week on this journey to better health.
