Whew eeee!~!~!!!!!! Just checked my sugar levels - 3hrs after I got up. Before 1st meal! 93!!!!!! 93!!!!!@ Cannot believe this . Been checking regularly since I diagnosed PRE-diabetic 2012/ Only 2nd time --levels were under 100. Both times since I started Keto in June 2017!!!!! So COOOL !!!!!

Wonderful, keep it up, gal! My readings are always higher in the morning, so I do not take a blood sugar count at that time of day. My doctor does not have an explanation for my count being higher in the mornings, so I just live with it. Diabetics are a unique group.

Jlf938 blood sugar high in the morning means your liver is getting falsely signaled somehow that you are in need of sugar, more sugar than necessary to actually function. This is not a condition you should let go unchecked. This is what your body is doing while you are fasting and you want it to be adapted to withdrawing stores of fat and processing them correctly. My sugars only spike in the morning if I over sleep and my body decides to go looking for extra stores to replenish, then I can see sugars as high as 110-130, but I definitely notice the timing difference on the sleep. LOL🙇🏻‍♀️
